Singapore and Estonia Reaffirm Friendly Defence Relations

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen called on Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid this afternoon. President Kaljulaid was in Singapore for a working visit and called on President Halimah Yacob earlier in the day.
During their meeting, Dr Ng and President Kaljulaid acknowledged the friendly defence relations between Singapore and Estonia. Both sides exchanged views on regional geopolitical developments and reaffirmed the importance of multilateralism, particularly for small states, in addressing common challenges such as developing digital norms and ensuring cybersecurity. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchanges between both defence establishments.
