The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) holds its service personnel to high standards of discipline and integrity. Service personnel who commit offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Lieutenant Colonel Neo Aik Chiao had been suspended from all duties following his arrest.
The SAF is aware that he has pleaded guilty to offences in the State Courts.
The SAF will initiate further actions upon the conclusion of Court hearings, which may include discharge from service.
