Minister for Defence to Visit Germany

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will make an official visit to Germany from 12 to 14 December 2022 (Singapore time).

On 13 December 2022, Dr Ng will attend the launch ceremony of two Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) submarines in Kiel. The launch ceremony will be officiated by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and the submarines will be launched by PM Lee's wife, Mrs Lee, as the Lady Sponsor. On 14 December 2022, Dr Ng will call on Germany's Federal Minister of Defence Christine Lambrecht in Berlin.

Dr Ng's working visit underscores the warm and growing defence relations between Singapore and Germany.
