Media Reply on Former SAF Regular Charged for Alleged Cheating Offences
10 November 2025
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) holds its service personnel to high standards of discipline and integrity. We do not tolerate any form of cheating in the SAF. Service personnel who commit offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Song Yong Pang, Benjamin was suspended from his duties following his arrest. He has since been charged for cheating offences. He is no longer a regular serviceman with the SAF.
As court proceedings are ongoing, MINDEF and the SAF are unable to comment further on the case.
