In line with the national tightening of COVID-19 safe management measures, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct outdoor Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) in smaller groups of up to 30 individuals from 8 to 30 May. IPPT sessions at the indoor SAFRA gyms remain suspended.
As a result of the reduction in capacity, the scheduled IPPT sessions in May for some Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) will have to be deferred. Affected NSmen will be notified by SMS. They will be able to book another IPPT session scheduled for a later date.
The SAF will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation in Singapore and review the measures in place to keep servicemen safe.
