In response to a media query on MINDEF's Training in Tengah vis-à-vis the Tengah Masterplan, the following MINDEF statement was issued:

"MINDEF is supportive of HDB's development of Tengah New Town. Military training in the area will be adjusted accordingly in line with HDB's Masterplan for Tengah."
