Reply to Media Queries on CPT Ong's Hearing Outcome

Captain (CPT) Ong Lin Jie had been suspended from service pending the outcome of the court proceedings. As CPT Ong has now been convicted of an offence punishable under Section 304A(a) of the Penal Code, i.e., for causing death by a rash act, the SAF will initiate further actions against him, which may include discharging him from service.
