Minister for Defence to Visit the Republic of Korea and Speak at the 2nd Responsible AI in the Military Domain Summit

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be visiting Seoul, Republic of Korea (ROK) from 8 to 11 Sep 2024 to attend the 2nd Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Military Domain (REAIM) Summit.
As part of his visit, Dr Ng will deliver remarks at the REAIM Summit and have bilateral engagements with key defence partners. Dr Ng’s visit to the ROK to attend the REAIM Summit underscores Singapore’s commitment to advancing international norms and standards on responsible AI.
The REAIM Summit is an annual platform for global discussion amongst countries and various stakeholders on ensuring the responsible military application of AI. Singapore will be co-hosting the Summit alongside the ROK, the Netherlands, Kenya, and the UK.
