The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) successfully conducted a counter-terrorism exercise at The Star Vista from 7 to 8 February 2022.
The exercise was led by the SAF's Special Operations Task Force (SOTF). The Republic of Singapore Air Force's H225M Medium Lift Helicopters were also deployed for the exercise.
Aimed at testing the SAF's operational readiness and strengthening its response to a spectrum of threats, the exercise scenario required the deployed forces to respond to a simulated hostage situation and swiftly neutralise threats within an urban setting.
The SAF continues to train and conduct exercises regularly, even amidst the COVID-19 situation, to ensure that it remains operationally ready to safeguard Singapore's sovereignty and security.

Assets deployed for the counter-terrorism exercise at The Star Vista included H225M Medium Lift Helicopters from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
