1. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Enlistment Act, the proper authority requires every male citizen of Singapore, and every male permanent resident of Singapore, born between 1 July 2001 and 30 September 2001 (both dates inclusive) (called in this notice a registrant) to register for national service.
2. A registrant must register for national service between 13 September 2018 and 3 October 2018(both dates inclusive) -

3. (1) Each registrant must -
while registering, appoint a date between 15 November 2018 and 18 December 2018(both dates inclusive) for his medical examination; and
go for his medical examination at CMPB on the appointed date between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
(2) However, sub-paragraph (1) does not apply if the registrant makes an application under paragraph 4(1), and is successful in that application.
4. (1) Any registrant may, after he commences registration for national service but before he commences national service, apply for the postponement of his liability to report for enlistment in order to complete his studies in Singapore.
(2) An application under sub-paragraph (1) must be made -

(3) If a registrant’s application under sub-paragraph (1) is successful, the registrant will receive further notice from the proper authority as to when the registrant is to report for enlistment and go for his medical examination.
