To support the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)'s motorisation effort, the SAF will require more land for manoeuvre training. While overseas training continues to be an important option, the SAF also needs to ensure sufficient capacity within Singapore for the conduct of manoeuvre training. The SAF aims to turn this initiative into a viable training area.
