Minister for Defence to Visit US for the 7th Reagan National Defense Forum

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Simi Valley, California, United States (US) from 6 to 8 December 2019 (SG time). Dr Ng will be attending the 7th Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), where he will speak at a panel session titled "Advancing US National Defense: Working with Allies and Partners".
As part of his visit, Dr Ng will have bilateral engagements with current and former US officials, including Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien, and former Secretary of Defense James Mattis.
Established in 2013, the RNDF brings together distinguished leaders and key players in the defence community to address national security issues. This year's RNDF will be attended by Secretary Esper and other US national security officials, foreign defence ministers, members of the US Congress, policy experts, and military leaders.
