The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) holds its servicemen to high standards of discipline and integrity, and expects them to abide by the law. Those who commit offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Following his arrest, the serviceman was suspended by the SAF from all duties. With the conclusion of the Court process, the SAF has discharged him from service.
