Minister for Defence Reaffirms Strong Defence Ties with Counterparts at 20th Shangri-La Dialogue

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen met his counterparts on the sidelines of the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) today.
Dr Ng met Cambodia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Tea Banh at the Shangri-La Hotel this afternoon. During the meeting, both Ministers reaffirmed the warm and friendly bilateral defence relations between Singapore and Cambodia, and discussed ongoing geopolitical developments as well as regional cooperation via the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM).
In addition, Dr Ng met Canada Minister of National Defence Anita Anand, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Josep Borrell Fontelles, Netherlands Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren, and Portugal Minister of Defence Helena Carreiras.
