Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen met with Republic of Korea Minister of National Defense Song Youngmoo today on the sidelines of the 17th Shangri-La Dialogue. During the meeting, Dr Ng and Mr Song discussed the recent developments in the Korean Peninsula, and expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic efforts will result in lasting peace and stability. 

Today, Dr Ng also met with Cambodia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense General (GEN) Tea Banh, Canada Minister of National Defence Harjit Singh Sajjan, Indonesia Minister of Defence GEN (Rtd) Ryamizard Ryacudu, New Zealand Minister of Defence Ron Mark, Philippines Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, Thailand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence GEN Prawit Wongsuwan, Vietnam Minister of National Defence GEN Ngo Xuan Lich, and Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command Admiral Philip Davidson.
