Mr Ong Ye Kung to Attend 7th Moscow Conference on International Security

Second Minister for Defence Mr Ong Ye Kung will be in Russia from 3 to 5 April 2018 to attend the 7th Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS). Held annually, the MCIS brings together high-level defence, military and foreign affairs leaders from around the world to discuss a range of security issues.
Mr Ong will speak at the conference on 5 April on the topic "Asia: Regional Security Aspects". He will also meet with defence leaders and foreign affairs personalities from various countries, including the Indian Minister for Defence Nirmala Sitharaman, Russian Deputy Minister of Defence Colonel-General Alexander Fomin, Former US Ambassador to Singapore and US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman and Vietnamese Minister of National Defence GEN Ngo Xuan Lich.
