SAF Military and Live Firing Exercises

SAF MILITARY EXERCISES (ARMY)

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct military exercises in Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, Hong Kah, Ama Keng, Bedok Jetty, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang, and Mandai from Mon, 3 Jun 2019 to Mon, 10 Jun 2019. 

Blanks and thunderflashes will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

SAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES (ARMY)

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct live-firing exercises in Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live-Firing Area from Mon, 3 Jun 2019 to Mon, 10 Jun 2019. 

Sea vessels and crafts sailing through the Western Johor Straits from Mon, 3 Jun 2019 to Mon, 10 Jun 2019 are to keep within the 75m Navigable Sea Lane and not to stray into the Live-Firing Boundary.

Live ammunition and flares will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

SAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES (RSAF)

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will conduct live-firing exercises at the Southern Islands Live Firing Range on Mon, 3 Jun 2019 and Fri, 7 Jun 2019.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of the area.
 
SAF ANNOUNCEMENT

The islands of Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang, and Pulau Pawai are proclaimed manoeuvring and firing grounds. The public is advised to keep clear of these islands. The public is also advised to stay clear of the prohibited waters off Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.

NO TRESPASSING INTO SAF RESTRICTED AREA

Trespassing into SAF restricted area constitutes an offence and it is punishable by law with a fine of $1,000 or imprisonment for a term of 2 years or both.
