SAF Military Exercises

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct military exercises in Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, Hong Kah, Ama Keng, Bedok Jetty, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang, Mandai from 08:00am on Mon, 7 Nov 2016 to 08:00am on Mon, 14 Nov 2016.

Blanks and thunderflashes will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will conduct a military exercise from 10 Nov 16 (Thu) to 14 Nov 16 (Mon). To facilitate the exercise, Lim Chu Kang Road will be closed from 8.00am on 10 Nov 16 to 6.00pm on 14 Nov 16. Traffic Wardens will be deployed to guide the public to the appropriate diversion roads during the exercise period. There will be increased flying activities and loud noises will be experienced. The public is advised not to be alarmed.

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct Live Firing Exercises in Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live Firing Area from 08:00 am on Mon, 7 Nov 2016 to 08:00am on Mon 14 Nov 2016.

Sea vessels and crafts sailing through the Western Johor Straits from 08:00am on Mon, 7 Nov 2016 to 08:00am on Mon, 14 Nov 2016 are to keep within the 75m Navigable Sea Lane and not to stray into the Live Firing Boundary.

Live ammunition and flares will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

The islands of Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang and Pulau Pawai are proclaimed manoeuvring and firing grounds. The public is advised to keep clear of these islands. The public is also advised to stay clear of the prohibited waters off Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force will be conducting Live Firing exercises around Pulau Sudong, Pulau Pawai and Pulau Senang from 7 Nov 16 (Mon) to 11 Nov 16 (Fri) daily from 7.00am to 11.00pm, 12 Nov 16 (Sat) 8.00am to 1.00pm.

Flares will be released during the night firing.

The public is advised to keep clear of Pulau Pawai, Pulau Senang and Pulau Sudong which lie within the Live Firing Areas.
