SAF ANNOUNCEMENT

The islands of Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang, and Pulau Pawai, and their surrounding waters are proclaimed live-firing areas. Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) live-firing/demolition activities will be conducted from Monday, 14 April 2025 to Monday, 21 April 2025 with the necessary safety and control measures in place. Some loud noises may be expected.

The public is advised not to be alarmed, and to keep clear of these islands, areas and their surrounding waters. The public is also advised to stay clear of the prohibited waters off Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.

SAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES

The SAF will conduct live-firing exercises in the Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live-Firing Area from Monday, 14 April 2025 to Monday, 21 April 2025.

Sea vessels and crafts sailing through the Western Johor Straits during this period are to keep within the 75m Navigable Sea Lane and not to stray into the Live-Firing Boundary. Live ammunition and flares will be used.

SAF MILITARY EXERCISES

The SAF will conduct military exercises in Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, Hong Kah, Ama Keng, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang, and Mandai from Monday, 14 April 2025 to Monday, 21 April 2025. Blanks and thunderflashes will be used.

As part of a Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) exercise, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will conduct flying activities from Tengah, Paya Lebar, Sembawang and Changi Air Base from Saturday, 12 Apr 2025 to Monday, 21 Apr 2025.

The public can expect daytime weekend flying activities on Saturdays, 12 Apr and 19 Apr 2025 and Sundays, 13 Apr and 20 Apr 2025; as well as night flying activities on Thursday, 17 Apr 2025. The public is advised not to be alarmed.

NO TRESPASSING INTO SAF RESTRICTED AREAS

Trespassing into SAF restricted areas constitutes an offence and it is punishable by law. The public is advised to keep clear of SAF exercise and live-firing areas.
