SAF Military and Live-Firing Exercises

SAF ANNOUNCEMENT
The islands of Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang, and Pulau Pawai, and their surrounding waters are proclaimed manoeuvring and live-firing areas. Live firing/demolition activities will be conducted from Friday, 17 March 2023 to Monday, 20 March 2023, with the necessary safety and control measures in place. Some loud noises may be expected from the demolition activities. The public is advised to keep clear of these islands and their surrounding waters. The public is also advised to stay clear of the prohibited waters off Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.
SAF MILITARY EXERCISES (ARMY)
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct military exercises in Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, Hong Kah, Ama Keng, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang, and Mandai from Monday, 13 March 2023 to Monday, 20 March 2023.
Blanks and thunderflashes will be used.
The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.
SAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES (ARMY)
The SAF will conduct live-firing exercises in the Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live-Firing Area from Monday, 13 March 2023 to Monday, 20 March 2023.
Sea vessels and crafts sailing through the Western Johor Straits from Monday, 13 March 2023 to Monday, 20 March 2023 are to keep within the 75m Navigable Sea Lane and not to stray into the Live-Firing Boundary.
Live ammunition and flares will be used.
The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.
SAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES (RSAF)
The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will be conducting live-firing exercises at the Southern Island Live Firing Range on Monday, 13 March 2023. The RSAF will also conduct live demolition activities in Tengah Air Base on Thursday, 16 March 2023, from 1300hrs to 1900hrs.
The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.
NO TRESPASSING INTO SAF RESTRICTED AREAS
Trespassing into SAF restricted areas constitutes an offence and it is punishable by law with a fine of $1,000 or imprisonment for a term of two years or both.
