SAF Dentistry Scholarship

The SAF Dentistry Scholarship is an exclusive scholarship programme offered only by the Singapore Armed Forces. The scholarship offers individuals an opportunity to pursue a dentistry study and subsequently develop as officers to hold senior positions in the SAF.

The SAF Dentistry Scholarship offers scholars opportunities to be involved in operations that directly contribute to the peace and security of Singapore.

Pre-requisites

• Singaporean citizen

• Secure a place at the National University of Singapore to study Dentistry

• Qualify for Officer Cadet School

• Good Co-Curricular Activity Record

Length of Bond

• 6 Years

• The serving of the bond will begin from the day you return to SAF upon successful completion of studies. SAF bond runs concurrent with the 4-year MOH bond which is mandatory for all Dental students. The SAF bond will be suspended during periods of specialty training and hospital postings.

Application window

• Males: Now till 11 April 2025

• Females departing for studies the following year: Now till 24 August 2025
