Medical Military Domain Expert Scheme Sponsorship (MME)

A career as a Military Medical Expert (MME) in the SAF opens doors to new opportunities. Military Medical Experts are sought after and respected for their medical expertise, both in para-medicine and nursing. They play a pivotal role in planning for and participating in military exercises and operations. In the event of a disaster, they may represent Singapore and be deployed to provide humanitarian aid to people in need.

Pre-requisites

• Singaporean citizen

• Secure a place at NUS/NTU/SUTD/SIT approved Degree Programme in Healthcare related courses

• Completed MDEC Phase 1 / Completed OCS (NSF Officers)

• Good Co-Curricular Activity Record

Length of Bond

• 4 Years

• The serving of the bond will begin from the day you return to SAF upon successful completion of studies.

SAF Polytechnic Sponsorship

Value of award

• A Monthly Allowance of $1,300

• Tuition Fee and Compulsory Charges

• Study Bonus of $1,200 per semester (Pass all modules)

Pre-requisites

• Singaporean citizen

• Secure a place at a Local SAF-Recognised Polytechnic

• Be physically fit

Length of Bond

• 4 Years

• The serving of the bond will begin from the day you return to SAF upon successful completion of studies.
