I wanted to work in the public sector to contribute to Singapore and make a difference.
I was attracted to the variety of job experiences MINDEF had to offer, from communications, events and campaigns to policy, finance and HR.
The flexibility of the DXO scheme supports officers who want to be specialists or generalists.
My work on the Total Defence campaign inspires Singaporeans to put Total Defence into action. It includes strengthening their commitment to defend Singapore, and willingness to support fellow Singaporeans in times of need.
I was given the opportunity to further my interest and professional competencies in the communications sector through an overseas post-grad sponsorship from MINDEF.
