Supporting Documents


Depending on the circumstances behind your Exit Permit application, you may be required to submit the following supporting documents:

  1. Document(s) relating to your business trip
  1. Company Letter or contract bearing the company letterhead, certifying your employment status, duration and signed by your superior/HR dept/director
  1. Document(s) relating to your work on board
  1. Document(s) relevant to your medical treatment
  1. Copy of your PR Visa/PR Identification
  1. Document(s) relating to your overseas training
  2. Letter from your overseas shipping company stating the overseas duration
  1. Document(s) relating to your overseas training
  2. Letter from your overseas internship/exchange/training company stating the overseas duration for the relevant purpose
  1. Social visit or staying Visa
  2. If your trip involves multiple countries with no applicable visa, please provide your travel itinerary and all relevant pages of your exit/entry records
  3. For accompanying of spouse, please also provide your marriage certificate and relevant supporting document for your spouse's overseas employment or studies
  1. School letter certifying your acceptance by the institution, level of study, course name and duration, e.g. eCOE, CAS or I-20, etc.
  2. If your school letter is dated more than 6 months from the date of submission, please provide additional up-to-date supporting documents, e.g. student visa, recent school fees paid, etc.
