Fostering Warm Defence Relations with the Royal Malaysian Navy

Our Master Chief Navy (MCN) Military Expert 6 (ME6) Richard Goh led an RSN delegation for the second Enlisted Officers' Interaction Programme (EOIP) with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) from 24 to 26 Feb.

 

The RMN's Warrant Officer of the Navy (WON) WO1 Mohd Osis bin Onan hosted the RSN delegation at Kota Kinabalu Naval Base.

ME6 Goh called on the RMN's Eastern Fleet Commander Vice Admiral (VADM) Dato' Khir Junaidi Bin Idris.

During the EOIP, the RSN delegation engaged in discussions with their RMN counterparts. They also visited the Naval Air Station in Kota Kinabalu, as well as the Keris-class Littoral Mission Ship KD Keris.

At the conclusion of the EOIP, ME6 Goh thanked our RMN counterparts for hosting them and expressed his hope for subsequent EOIPs to continue the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

The RSN and RMN interact regularly across a range of activities. The EOIP allows both navies to deepen our mutual understanding.
