NAVAL OFFICERS’ ADVANCED SCHOOL (NAS)

MISSION

To train, educate and develop our Officers into competent, confident and committed naval war-fighters.

About NAS History

Naval Officers’ Advanced School (NAS) was previously located in the Officers’ Training Wing of Midshipman School in Sembawang Camp, where officers attended professional courses that prepared them for their appointments. In 1995 when SAFTI Military Institute (SAFTI MI) was built and officially opened, both Midshipman School and Naval Officers’ Advanced School (NAS) shifted to SAFTI MI.

The shift into SAFTI MI has brought us closer under the ambit of a truly Joint Armed Forces. Learners here are given the opportunity to interact with their counterparts across the SAF, establishing ties which contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAF. The grounds of SAFTI MI also contribute effectively to the learning environment. Modern classrooms, a robust and thorough computer infrastructure, good sports facilities and a fully equipped library, are just some of the features that make learning in SAFTI MI an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
