Introduction

Army Open House 2022 (AOH22) will make a return to the F1 Pit Building after five years. Themed "Generations of Strength" to commemorate 55 years of National Service, AOH22 will comprise the AOH22 Virtual Exhibition, AOH22@F1 Pit Building and AOH22@Heartlands to showcase the Army's hardware, software and heartware to engage Singaporeans of all ages.

AOH22 will feature a range of interactive activities where visitors can view over 20 different Army platforms, get up close with the different Army Formations and enjoy Battle Rides on various Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) platforms. There will be a mission-based night walk, an outdoor obstacle course and other hands-on activities to provide visitors with an immersive and exciting experience. To take part in the Drone Arena, Be A Marksman, Battle Rides and Soldier Strong Obstacle Course, bookings can be made on-site at the F1 Pit Building.

Visitors can also learn more about the evolution of National Service (NS) over the past 55 years, as well as achievements of our national servicemen in defending and safeguarding Singapore through the NS55 Showcase.

The AOH22 Virtual Exhibition will be accessible on the AOH22 website from 16 May to 12 June. The Main Exhibition will be open to public from 28 to 30 May at the F1 Pit Building. A slice of AOH22 will subsequently move to the heartlands (AOH22@Heartlands): (i) Punggol from 3 to 5 June; and (ii) Bishan from 10 to 12 June. Members of public will have to book tickets for entry into the Main Exhibition at the F1 Pit Building and AOH22@Heartlands. Ticket-booking will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. AOH22 Virtual Exhibition

For the first time, the Army is integrating both physical and virtual components of AOH to deliver an immersive experience to the public and reach a wider audience. The Virtual Exhibition, hosted on the AOH22 website from 16 May to 12 June, features different interactive elements and games for visitors to learn more about the Army's Formations, operational capabilities and platforms, as well as the professionalism of our soldiers.

NS55 Showcase. A replica of the physical exhibition, the NS55 showcase aims to bring you through generations of NS and includes an interactive video featuring servicemen from the SAF and the Home Team. It ends off with a space for visitors to pledge support for NS, and for national servicemen to share their NS stories.

Online Games. Five games are created within the 11 zones hosted on the AOH22 website. Visitors stand a chance to win AOH22 souvenirs: (i) spot the soldier with the aid of night-fighting equipment in Experience The Night; (ii) drive combat vehicles and avoid obstacles in Battle Rides; (iii) Be A Marksman in the virtual SAR 21 shooting range; (iv) pilot a drone and bypass obstacles in the Drone Arena; and (v) complete the obstacle course in Soldier Strong.

Downloadable Content. Visitors can download content from the virtual exhibition for their own use. There are stickers that can be downloaded from Our Army Formations for messaging applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram. There are also 15 Army-themed colouring sheets which are downloadable from the Kids Zone.

Showcase and Highlights. Visitors can conveniently watch livestreams and highlights from the physical sites of AOH22.
