Also present were spouses and guests of the promoted personnel, as well as senior MINDEF officials and SAF officers.

The promotees for this year include Chief of Army BG David Neo who is promoted to the rank of MG. In addition, seven Colonels were promoted to the ranks of BG and RADM (One-Star). Among the list of warrant officers promoted this year, two SWOs were promoted to the pinnacle rank of CWO.

A promotion ceremony for DXOs will be held next week to recognise the contributions of MINDEF/SAF’s non-uniformed personnel.
