Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Auckland, New Zealand from 11 to 13 March 2018 to co-chair the second Singapore-New Zealand Defence Ministers' Meeting with New Zealand Minister of Defence Ron Mark. Dr Ng will be meeting Minister Mark for the first time, where they will discuss regional security issues and bilateral defence cooperation.

The Singapore-New Zealand Defence Ministers' Meeting was established in 2017, and underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthen the defence relationship.

Dr Ng will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Defence.
