Greater Convenience for NSmen to Dispose Used and Unwanted Personal Equipment

Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen), including those who have completed their Operationally Ready National Service obligations, may dispose of their used and unwanted personal equipment by returning it to their units, the Army Logistics Base, or at collection points in all SAF eMarts. NSmen may also dispose of unwanted SAF uniforms by cutting them up before throwing them into trash bins.

Since November 2017, as part of the SAF's effort to make it more convenient for NSmen to dispose of their personal equipment, collection bins have been installed at the six SAFRA clubhouses island-wide and outside four SAF camps near housing estates - Bedok Camp, Kranji Camp 3, Maju Camp and Stagmont Camp. More collection bins will also be installed outside Khatib Camp and at The Chevrons early next year in 2018.
