Fact Sheet: SAF Day 2015 Combined Rededication Ceremonies

Background

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day Combined Rededication Ceremony (CRC) has been organised since 1 July 1988. It is organised annually on 1 July, across four geographical zones namely North/North-East, CBD/South, East and West in Singapore.  It is undertaken by civilian organisations on a voluntary basis. These organisers in turn invite their business partners as well as companies that are located in that particular zone to participate in the CRC. The participants at these CRC include employers and their NS and civilian employees. At these ceremonies, Operationally-Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) are also given the opportunity to publicly re-affirm their pledge of loyalty and dedication to the SAF and the nation.
