Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Joseph Leong is the team leader of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)'s 2015 Black Knights team. The 46-year-old is a flying instructor in 140 Squadron (SQN) at Tengah Air Base. LTC Leong joined the RSAF in 1987 and has flown the A-4SU, F-5 and F-16 fighter aircraft. He has over 4,200 flying hours under his belt. LTC Leong has served as an operational pilot both locally in 140 SQN, 143 SQN and 145 SQN, and overseas in the RSAF's Peace Carvin II detachment in the United States (US). He was also the Commanding Officer of the RSAF's 150 SQN detachment in France.
Captain (CPT) Devdutt Sasidharan is flying as the "Right Wingman" with the Black Knights. He is a flying instructor in 145 SQN and flies the F-16 fighter aircraft. The 29-year-old has been in the RSAF for nine years and has clocked over 1,500 flying hours. CPT Sasidharan has also flown as an operational pilot with 140 SQN and 143 SQN.
Major (MAJ) Kevin Lim is flying as the "Left Wingman" with the Black Knights. He is a flying instructor in 143 SQN. The 37-year-old has served in the RSAF for 17 years and has flown the A-4SU and F-16 fighter aircraft. He has clocked over 2,900 flying hours and has been an operational pilot in 140 SQN and 143 SQN. He has also served in the Peace Carvin II detachment in the US, the 150 SQN detachment in France, as well as an Officer Commanding in 143 SQN.
MAJ Derek Chan is flying as the "Slotman" with the Black Knights. The 37-year old is a flying instructor in 140 SQN. MAJ Chan has been in the RSAF for 17 years and flies the F-16 fighter aircraft. He has over 3,000 flying hours under his belt. MAJ Chan was an A-4SU pilot instructor in 150 SQN, France, and has served as an Officer Commanding in 140 SQN. He has also flown as an operational pilot in 143 SQN and 145 SQN.
MAJ Eugene Lim is flying as the "Lead Solo" with the Black Knights. The 38-year-old is currently an operational pilot in 143 SQN. MAJ Lim has been in the RSAF for 17 years and has over 2,200 flying hours under his belt. MAJ Lim has served as an operational pilot locally in 140 SQN, 143 SQN and 145 SQN, as well as overseas in the Peace Carvin II detachment in the US. He was also a fighter weapons instructor in 143 SQN.
MAJ Chang Haw Ning is flying as the "Opposing Solo" in the Black Knights. He is a flying instructor in 145 SQN. MAJ Chang has been in the RSAF for 14 years and has over 2,500 flying hours under his belt. The 35-year-old has served as an operational pilot both locally in 140 SQN, 143 SQN and 145 SQN, as well as overseas in the Peace Carvin II detachment in the US as an instructor.
