RSAF F-16 to Commemorate 100 Years of the Royal Thai Air Force Founding Fathers' Aviation

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is participating in an airshow at Don Muang Airport, Bangkok, from 29 to 30 June 2012, at the invitation of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) to commemorate the Centennial of the RTAF Founding Fathers' Aviation. An RSAF F-16C fighter aircraft is performing daily solo aerial displays at the airshow, executing manoeuvres such as the Twisted Inverted Pass, Quadruple Roll and the High-Gravity Turn.

The RSAF's involvement in the airshow underscores the close and long-standing bilateral defence relations between Singapore and Thailand. The RSAF and RTAF regularly engage in a broad spectrum of interactions, including exercises and professional exchanges, which serve to strengthen the understanding and friendship between the personnel of both air forces.
