Military Expert 5 (ME5) Noh Kok Tiong joined the Singapore Armed Force (SAF) on 16th July 1991.

He held various appointments including the Regimental Sergeant Major, Officer Commanding and S3 of various C4I units, and the C4I Sergeant Major.

ME5 Noh’s military education includes the Joint Warrant Officer Course, where he graduated with a Book Prize, Army Battalion Regimental Sergeant Major Course, Military Domain Expert Course, SAF Staff Officers Course, Tri-Service Warfighter Course, and the 17th Command and Staff Course (Executive) from the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College.

He also has a Diploma in Electronic, Communication and Computer Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, Specialist Diploma in Wireless Communication from Republic Polytechnic, Certificate in Data Science from SUTD, as well as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certificate from Temasek Polytechnic.

ME5 Noh was awarded the State Efficiency Medal (Military), the Long Service Award (Military, 25 Years), Overseas Service Medal and US Joint Commendation Medal. He also received the Chief of Defence Force's Coin in 2013 and C4I Sergeant Major's Coin in 2017.
