We were at the Australian International Airshow 2019! This year, two PC-21s from our Pearce Detachment and two CH-47D Chinooks from our Oakey Detachment were on static display.
Our airmen and women worked tirelessly under the scorching sun to showcase our Air Force and assets to our friends in Australia. Visitors had the chance to get up close to our aircraft and understand the RSAF’s operations from our airmen! We were definitely mesmerised by the spectacular flying displays too!

“It’s my duty to maintain the Chinook to ensure that it’s in the best condition. Though the flight to Avalon was long, I feel satisfied and honoured to be flying with the aircraft that I’ve worked on. It feels good to showcase what we have and let the presence of Singapore be felt here!”
