Exercise Vigilant Shield 2022 saw the RSAF and partner agencies orchestrate a coordinated response to tackle threats from the air.

A distress call has been received by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). A commercial aircraft has been hijacked by terrorists and is en route to Singapore. The terrorists threaten to blow up the aircraft and kill all the passengers and crew on board.

Two thousand soldiers, four Task Forces and numerous military assets deployed on land, at sea and in the air. All ready to secure Singapore for one historic meeting.
