与其他任何一项运动一样,擅长飞镖也需要持续的训练和练习。这对搭档和他们的新加坡武装部队体育协会飞镖小组成员每周接受两次训练,并参加每周举办一次的当地联赛

德瓦拉扬(Devarajan)三级军事专才(中、手举奖杯)和何四级军事专才(右二)与在2019年公共服务之星游戏飞镖锦标赛中获得金奖的新加坡武装部队体育协会飞镖小组合影。

对于那些不熟悉比赛标准的人来说:大多数专业的钢尖飞镖比赛都是“501分开始”-每位选手都是从501分开始,然后轮流投掷三枚飞镖。

计算出每回合的分数,并从选手的总分数中扣除。靶心(内中心圆)得分为50,外中心圆得分为25,双倍区或三倍区得分为各分值区的两倍或三倍。

比赛的主要目标是成为第一个将分数降低至刚好是零的选手,唯一需要注意的是,最后投掷出的飞镖必须落在双倍区或靶心上。
