Strengthening Cooperation with Indonesia

18 Apr 22

"There is strength in numbers." This age-old adage definitely rings true when it comes to working together with like-minded partners to enhance maritime security (MARSEC) in the region.

On 13 Apr 22, Deputy Commander MARSEC Command / Maritime Security Task Force COL Rinson Chua met with DAN LANTAMAL IV FADM Dwika Tjahja Setiawan from the Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut (TNI AL) for the MARSEC - GUSKAMLA Interaction Programme (MGIP) at Batam Naval Base. Both leaders and their delegations shared a fruitful discussion for the continued strengthening of our operational and information-sharing linkages to enhance our MARSEC responses.
