Enhancing Maritime Awareness at South East Asia Cooperation and Training Exercise

This year's edition of South East Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) took multinational participants out of the sea, and onto the Web. Singapore joined navies from across the region and around the world for a three-day virtual symposium on Maritime Domain Awareness Symposium for this year's US-led SEACAT.

CAPT Harish Bahuguna, Director of Information Fusion Centre-Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) spoke about the maritime security (MARSEC) situation in the IOR and emphasised the need for all regional information fusion centres to cooperate to tackle MARSEC issues.
