Commander Naval Diving Unit (NDU) Change in Command

08 Jan 20

"He led as a Visionary who saw that our divers had the potential to become even sharper at the forefront of our Maritime Special Operations" - COL Chew Kuok Hsin, incoming Commander Naval Diving Unit (NDU), on the outgoing Commander COL Foong Kok Pun.

Yesterday, our elite Naval Divers witnessed the change in command as COL Foong concluded a successful four-year tour as Commander NDU. Under his leadership, our NDU transformed into a sharper, well-honed elite force. He led breakthrough changes in training, successfully conducted numerous maritime security operations, and inspired NDU through his leadership by example.

It was a moment to celebrate the growth of NDU over the years under COL Foong's guidance, made even more special by the presence of members from the very first batch of Naval Divers who also attended the ceremony.

We wish him all the best in his next appointment! Hooya!
