Navy Medals

SAF Good Service Medal

This medal may be awarded to:
- Regulars who have completed five years of full-time service (including NSF period, if any)
- NSmen who have completed two years of full-time service in the Singapore Armed Forces and attended three high-key In-Camp Trainings

SAF Long Service & Good Conduct (10 Years) Medal

This medal may be awarded to servicemen or women in regular service who have completed 10 years of continuous service in the Singapore Armed Forces.

SAF Long Service & Good Conduct (10 Years) Medal - 15 Years Clasp

This clasp may be awarded to a recipient of the SAF Long Service and Good Conduct (10 Years) medal who has completed a further five years of continuous service in the Singapore Armed Forces.

SAF Long Service & Good Conduct (20 Years) Medal

This medal may be awarded to a serviceman or woman in regular service, operationally ready national service or volunteer service, who has completed 20 years of continuous service in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Long Service Medal (Military)

This medal may be awarded to a uniformed Singapore Armed Forces serviceman or woman in regular service, operationally ready national service or volunteer service who has completed 25 years of continuous service in the Singapore Armed Forces.

SAF Long Service & Good Conduct (20 Years) Medal - 30 Years Clasp

This clasp may be awarded to a recipient of the Singapore Armed Forces Long Service and Good Conduct (20 Years) medal who has completed a further 10 years of continuous service in the SAF.

SAF Overseas Service Medal

This medal may be awarded to a member of the Singapore Armed Forces who has been engaged in service in an area outside of Singapore. 
To qualify, the personnel must perform the following:
- A service of 96 hours or more in operations against the enemy, or
- A service of 30 days or more in aggregate in a period of 12 months when employed in support of any formation, unit or sub-unit of any force engaged in operations against the enemy, or
- A service of 14 days or more when engaged in operations involving support of any foreign government

SAF Overseas Service Medal (Bronze Star)

A Bronze Star medal and ribbon shall be awarded to a member of the Singapore Armed Forces should he or she undertake a service that involves hostile action or considerable personal risk. 

Should the personnel receive this award a second time, a Bar shall be attached to his or her Bronze Star medal and ribbon.

A member of the SAF who had been engaged in the above-mentioned service but had fallen short of the qualifying period on account of death or evacuation owing to injury or disability, shall qualify for the award if the death, injury or disability was attributable to the said service.
