The annual influenza vaccination exercise (AIVE) has been in place for MINDEF/SAF personnel for about five years. Only vaccines approved by the Health Sciences Authority are used. The decision to temporarily halt the AIVE is precautionary. MINDEF and the SAF will continue to monitor the evolving situation and implement the necessary measures in line with national guidelines.
