Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen attended the Atlantic Council luncheon on the sidelines of the 56th Munich Security Conference (MSC) today[1]

The luncheon brings together MSC delegates and business executives to have candid and frank discussions on various topics. Earlier today, Dr Ng met German Federal Minister of Defence Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer. This was the first meeting between both Ministers, and both sides reaffirmed the warm and growing bilateral defence relations. During the meeting, Dr Ng conveyed our appreciation for Germany's steadfast support for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)'s armour training in Oberlausitz, Invincible-class submarine programme and crew training in Kiel. Both countries will also explore new areas of collaboration on cybersecurity and tackling of disinformation.
