Introduce

To commemorate the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)'s 50th anniversary (RSAF50) and to appreciate Singaporean's support for the RSAF, the RSAF is organising a series of events (see below) to celebrate this milestone year with fellow Singaporeans, friends and partners.

RSAF50@Singapore Airshow 2018

RSAF50@Singapore Airshow 2018. The RSAF will be participating in the Singapore Airshow (SA) 2018 from 6 to 11 February 2018. President Halimah Yacob will officially launch the RSAF50 celebrations on 7 February 2018 at SA18, unveil the commemorative RSAF50-themed F-15SG, and make her contribution to the RSAF50 Mural. During SA18, members of the public will be able to visit the RSAF50 Pavilion, view the RSAF assets on static display and enjoy the integrated aerial display performances by the RSAF. The RSAF static display will feature twice the number of RSAF assets on display as compared to past airshows. There will also be several new highlights, including a mock-up runway with Airfield Landing Aids to provide visitors with a unique experience in the pavilion, realistic aircraft and weapon system simulators integrated for an enhanced "flying" experience, and an aircraft arming demonstration. The aerial display will feature two F-16Cs and one F-15SG fighter aircraft performing breath-taking aerobatic manoeuvres that will showcase the speed and power of the F-15SG, as well as the agility and precision of the F-16s.

To reach out to fellow Singaporeans to show our appreciation for their support, the RSAF will bring the RSAF50 celebrations into the Heartlands.
