Saf Exercises
Sharpening the SAF's operational capabilities all over the world

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) conducts military exercises regularly on mainland Singapore in areas such as Marsiling, Lim Chu Kang, Mandai as well as on off-shore islands such as Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang and Pulau Pawai.

Besides conducting military exercises locally, the SAF also conducts unilateral exercises as well as bilateral and multilateral exercises with other militaries all over the world. The foreign environment often allows the SAF to conduct training at a larger scale, scope and complexity that it cannot achieve in land-scarce Singapore, and enables the SAF to advance its operational capabilities and train its soldiers in a realistic and tough environment.

The SAF has a long history of military cooperation with many nations, including joint operational deployments, multilateral exercises, mutual visits, professional exchanges and cross-attendance of professional courses.
