The Peace Carvin V (PCV) detachment in Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, United States was established in 2008. Training is currently conducted using the RSAF's
F-15SG Fighter aircraft.

Exercise Forging Sabre is an integrated strike exercise conducted by the SAF, and includes a number of assets from the RSAF and the Singapore Army. It is held in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.
The exercise provides the 3rd Generation SAF an excellent opportunity to validate its integrated strike capabilities in a realistic and challenging environment.
The Peace Carvin II (PCII) detachment in Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, United States was established in 1992. Training is currently conducted using the RSAF's F-16C/D Fighting Falcons.
The Peace Vanguard (PV) detachment in Marana, Arizona, United States was established in 2001. The detachment currently flies the RSAF's AH-64 Apache Helicopters.
The Peace Prairie (PP) detachment in Grand Prairie, Texas, United States was established in 1995. It is currently used for the training of the RSAF's CH-47 Chinook Helicopters.
Exercise Green Flag East is a USAF flag series exercise held in Fort Polk, Louisiana and is typically participated by RSAF's Peace Vanguard (PV) detachment.
The exercise focuses on Close Air Support (CAS) missions supporting the US Army units undergoing Joint Readiness Training Centre evaluation.
The RSAF's Cazaux detachment in France began in 1998 where the RSAF's fighter pilot trainees go through advanced jet training. 150 SQN currently conducts training using the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Advanced Jet Trainer.
Exercise Brightfire (XBF) is a Ground-Based Air Defence live-firing exercise conducted by the RSAF's Divisional Air Defence Group (DAG) at the Overberg Test Range (OTR) in South Africa.
The exercise hones the operational competencies of the participants and enhances their confidence in operating the Air Defence weapon systems.
The Joint Military Training (JMT) is conducted in Kalaikunda Air Force Station, India. The JMT is a valuable opportunity for the two air forces to interact and train together under realistic and challenging conditions.
The training also helps to enhance interoperability and foster closer rapport and understanding amongst the personnel of both air forces.
Exercise Cobra Gold is a series of multilateral exercises conducted in Thailand, focusing on peace support and non-combatant evacuation operations.
Exercise Cope Tiger is an annual trilateral exercise conducted by the RSAF, Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), and the United States Air Force (USAF) at the Korat Air Base, Thailand.
This exercise seeks to enhance professionalism and interoperability amongst the three participating air forces. It also aims to forge a stronger rapport and closer understanding amongst the participating personnel.
Ex Bersama Lima is a major Five Power Defence Arrangements exercise that aims to enhance regional security and foster cooperation among its member countries, namely Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
As part of the exercise, the RSAF and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) regularly conducts fighter cross-deployments and landways, where our pilots are hosted in Malaysia and vice versa. This showcases the close defence relationship between the two air forces.
The RSAF is involved in annual bilateral Maritime Air Surveillance (Camar Indopura) and Air Defence (Elang Indopura) exercises, comprising a Command Post exercise and Air Manoeuvre exercise, with the Indonesian Air Force, TNI-AU.

Ex Airguard is a bilateral air defence exercise where the host country alternates between Brunei and Singapore.

130 SQN, which is part of the RSAF's Flying Training Institute (FTI), conducts a nine-month long Basic Wings Course (BWC) which provides potential RSAF pilots with the knowledge and skills of basic flying before they progress to advanced aircraft training. 130 SQN is now employing the Pilatus PC-21 trainer aircraft.
Exercise Pitch Black is a biennial multilateral exercise in Darwin, Australia which has provided the RSAF with an excellent opportunity to conduct air operations under realistic training conditions and to enhance their interoperability with the other participating air forces.
This large-scale air combat exercise has previously involved participants from Australia, France, Indonesia, New Zealand, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and United States.
Exercise Wallaby is an annual large-scale exercise conducted by the RSAF at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) in Queensland, Australia.
The vast airspace in SWBTA allows for better training and the RSAF deploys our helicopters and Ground-Based Air Defence assets for the exercise as part of the multiple air-land integration operations.
The RSAF Helicopter detachment in Oakey, Queensland, Australia was established in 1996 and officially commissioned in 1999. The RSAF operates the AS-332 Super Puma Helicopters in Oakey.
Because of our limited local airspace, we have to spread our wings for flying training with our overseas counterparts. Our people get to interact and learn from their counterparts, immersing and enriching themselves in diverse cultures around the world. This not only strengthens the bonds of understanding and cooperation, but also allows us to benefit from their long Air Force histories and experience. Australia, North America and Europe play host to our long-term, detachment programmes.
