As an Aircrew Specialist, you will work on board our most advanced helicopters and transport aircraft. No matter how pressing the scenario, your training will arm you with the skills to take on search-and-rescue missions, deploy troops to the frontline, provide humanitarian assistance, and deliver crucial supplies to fighting forces.

As an Aircrew Specialist, you'll be under the Enhanced Warrant Officers Scheme (EWOS).

Training Progression

Basic Military Training
9 weeks
SCS Foundation Phase (Pasir Laba Camp)
8 weeks
Specialised Phase 1 - Ground School
1-2 months
Specialised Phase 2 - Flying
2-4 months
(i) Swimming Test
(ii) Helicopter Underwater Escape Training
(iii) Jungle Orientation Training

Other Requirements

  • Eyesight not more than 300 degrees per eye
  • Astigmatism not more than 75 degrees per eye
  • Any Diploma or a certificate in any NITEC/Higher NITEC discipline
