SAVINGS & RETIREMENT PLAN (SAVER)

This is a savings and retirement plan designed to assure Officers and their families a sound financial future.

CPF top-up Account

CPF TOP-UP ACCOUNT

A portion of your employer’s CPF contributions will be deposited into this account. The amount is invested under the SAVER Fund and the amount accumulated with returns will be credited back to your CPF Account upon completion of your service.

Savings Account

SAVINGS ACCOUNT

In addition to your salary, funds will be deposited into this account during the first 10 years of your service.

Sarver Bonus

SAVER BONUS

You can look forward to 6 months’ SAVER Bonus at the end of your 6th SAVER year. There is also a 5 months’ SAVER Bonus at the end of your 10th SAVER year.

Retirement Account

RETIREMENT ACCOUNT

Funds will be deposited into this account from the 7th year of your service until the end of your military career, providing you with additional financial comfort and security when you retire.

MEDISAVE-CUM-SUBSIDISED OUTPATIENT (MSO) SCHEME

You will receive additional Medisave contributions and enjoy up to 85% subsidy for yourself and 60% for your dependants on outpatient treatment.

FLEXIBLE BENEFITS (FLEX)

Flex Credits are given to military regulars to support your life cycle needs, over and above your remuneration package and care benefits. Officers will receive 600 – 1000 FLEX credits a year (equivalent to $600 – $1000), which can be used to pay for your insurance, vacations, education and medical needs.
