"It Will Never Happen Here..." Docu-drama Series

Terrorism continues to cast a dark shadow worldwide, threatening peaceful societies and established governments. Singapore is often thought of as one of the safest countries in the world. But will terror attacks ever happen here? Can we really be sure? Provocatively titled “It Will Never Happen Here”, the documentary-drama series explores five different national security threats through dramatisations and expert analysis.

Each 23-minute episode helps viewers understand the diverse and complex national threats facing Singapore, and encourage them to take concrete steps to prevent, prepare for and deal with these threats. Told through gritty and realistic visual treatment, and a minimalist -- high tech studio segment, it gives viewers an idea how these real and imminent threats would impact the island-state if the unimaginable happens.

The programme had its debut on local television (Channel 5), on 2 January 2018, at 9:30pm.
