The GKS CSC insignia comprises an emblem against a gold background. The gold background represents the pursuit of excellence while the flaming torch symbolizes the quest for greater learning. The leaping flames represent one’s enduring endeavor to reach greater heights through learning and knowledge.

GKS CSC draws together the very best officers of the SAF’s three Services to be developed to lead the SAF. The three Services of the SAF are represented by the sword [Army], the anchor [Navy] and the wings [Air Force], jointly intertwined and striving towards ONE SAF. Here at the Command and Staff College, all three services must come together for the common goal of defending our Republic.
